The Water Glove
A piece created in line with the fashion artefact project in which I achieved a 2.1.
This brief consisted of creating a fashion artefact piece inspired by a concept of our choice. For this project I chose to look into the beauty and vitality of water in an aim to encourage water preservation. I chose to look into gloves for this work as I wanted to experiment with a different style of accessory and develop my manufacturing skills.
The Divide
A project created in line with the Black Project brief in my first year of university. This work gained me a high first.
The Divide took inspiration from looking into class division and how the homeless society in particular are often overlooked. The aim for this project was to create awareness of the homeless society and portray them in a new light. The phrase 'seeking human kindness'Â was one which became a powerful phrase for this project. This is because it encourages the thought that we are all people and should treat each other with respect and kindness, regardless of our personal situations.
