Fred Perry
A mens footwear project where I looked into Fred Perry and designed a collection and shoes for them. For this module I achieved a First.
I chose to look into Fred Perry as I have a keen interest in that market level as well as truly British brands. Fred Perry has a interesting history and brand identity which is also a reason for why I chose to design with them in mind. This project enables me to work on CAD skills, market research and trend research. Whilst also expanding on my commercial and brand knowledge.
Inner Being
A short project in which we showed both research and design. For this work I achieved a First.
The project takes inspiration for the phrase 'Boys cry too' and is based on looking into how we as humans hide emotions and feelings under a hard exterior, in order to show strength and success. The artefact pieces within this collection of work resemble this thought, creating awareness of feelings and caring for others.
River Island
Live brief working as a group in order to create a collection of accessories.
As a group we worked on creating a collection of accessories in which each team member would manufacture two of the products. We were graded individually on this project due to certain team members taking on a larger role than others. My personal outcome for this project was a First along with gaining recognition from River Island as showing promise for a future within the industry.
